Abstract:

An absorbent article includes an outer cover graphic that appears brighter and more noticeable than present outer cover graphics. The outer cover includes a liquid impermeable inner layer and a fibrous outer layer which layers jointly define a graphic region where the inner and outer layers are intimately bonded together. The fibrous outer layer has a Light Transmittance Value in the graphic region of about 80 percent or higher, and an outer cover graphic is disposed on the inner layer in a location corresponding to the graphic region.

Abstract:

A disposable absorbent article having an area which is visible when the article is worn. A color gradation in the area provides a coloration which varies in intensity over the area from a higher intensity of color to a lower intensity of color. A visible element, such as an indicator for indicating a change in condition of the article, is at a location where the coloration is of lower intensity or absent so as not to obscure visibility of the element.

An absorbent feminine care article () having a longitudinal direction (), a lateral direction (), first and second longitudinally opposed end portions (), and an intermediate portion () located between the end portions. The article () comprises an absorbent body structure () sandwiched between a cover () and a baffle (). In a particular aspect, the absorbent structure () can include an intake layer () and a shaping layer ().
