  • International Classification:
    B27F 736
  • US Classification:
    227 7
  • Abstract:

The upper and lower plates are spaced apart by a distance greater than the maximum thickness of the set of sheets to be stapled, to allow any set of sheets to be inserted into the stapling jaws from in between the upper and lower plates and be movable for alignment between the plates while being visible through the transparent upper plate. The plates may be pivotally mounted to the stapler so as to fold up into a compact vertical storage position closely adjacent to the stapler when not in use, in which position access to the stapling jaws is blocked.
  • Customer Replaceable Belt Module

    view source
  • US Patent:
    52433846, Sep 7, 1993
  • Filed:
    Mar 28, 1991
  • Appl. No.:

One of the rollers is movable between a non-operative position, in which the space between the rollers is reduced, and an operative position, in which the space between the rollers is increased. A charging station and a cleaning station are mounted on the frame of the module adjacent the photoconductive belt. When one of the rollers is in the non-operative position, a cover covers at least the photoconductive belt. The cover has an insert about which a portion of the photoconductive is wrapped.
