Abstract:
The present invention describes a filter screen for removing debris from the hydraulic actuating fluid in an internal combustion engine having a hydraulic pump for supplying hydraulic actuating fluid to hydraulically-actuated unit fuel injectors. An upper portion of a priming reservoir is mounted on a front cover of the engine. The front cover forms a lower reservoir portion. A screen assembly is positioned adjacent to an interface defining an entrance from the upper reservoir portion to the lower reservoir portion. The screen assembly includes a filter screen enclosing the entrance to force the actuating fluid to pass through the filter screen, thus retaining debris that exceed the mesh size of the filter screen.

Abstract:
An apparatus for and method of providing a seal () for a movable rod () is described. The seal includes a flexible material () and a rigid seat () that may be utilized as a spring seat. The flexible material () has an opening with annular grooves and/or bumps () that provide a seal with the rod () when it moves axially and/or non-axially, for example, within a cylinder () in which the rod () and seal () are disposed.

Abstract:
A bracket assembly for electronic equipment support structures having an elongated main body, a mounting tab extending from a first edge of the main body, and first and second mounting arms extending from a second edge of the main body, opposite the first edge. The mounting tab has an aperture formed therethrough. The first mounting arm is positioned adjacent a first end of the main body and extends generally perpendicular to the main body and the mounting tab and the second mounting arm is positioned adjacent a second end of the main body, opposite the first end, and also extends generally perpendicular to the main body and the mounting tab. The bracket assembly can be mounted to a vertically oriented member of an electronic equipment support structure by: mounting the bracket assembly to the vertically oriented member; positioning the rack mountable equipment adjacent and generally parallel to the vertically oriented member such that the equipment is in a generally vertical orientation; and connecting the rack mountable equipment to the bracket assembly between opposing mounting arms of the bracket assembly.

Abstract:
The present invention describes a filter gasket (50) for removing debris from the hydraulic fluid in an internal combustion engine (10). An upper reservoir structure (30) is mounted on a front cover (14) of the engine (10) at interface (46). The front cover forms a lower reservoir (16). The upper reservoir structure (30) forms an upper reservoir (35). A gasket (42) is disposed along the interface (46) to seal the upper reservoir structure (30) to the front cover (14). A screen assembly (70) is positioned adjacent to the interface (46). The screen assembly (70) includes a filter screen (76) connected to a plate member (56). The plate member (56) operatively engages the gasket (42). The plate member (56) forces hydraulic fluid to pass through the filter screen (76), thus retaining debris that exceed the mesh size of the filter screen (76).
Engine And Transmission Spacer With Integrated Hydraulic Tank
An engine and transmission spacer with integrated hydraulic tank preferably includes a spacer case, an engine flange and a transmission flange. The spacer case includes an outer peripheral wall, a first outer wall and a second outer wall. The first outer wall is formed on one end of the outer peripheral wall and the second outer wall is formed on an opposing end of the outer peripheral wall. The engine flange extends from one end of the spacer case and the transmission flange extends from the opposing end thereof. A fluid cavity is formed in an inner surface of the outer peripheral wall, the first outer wall and the second outer wall. At least one pump port is preferably formed through a side of the outer peripheral wall. An oil pump is used to transfer fluid from the fluid cavity to another location.
