  • Abstract:
    An arrangement for retaining blister pack tablets comprises a container with at least a front cover and a rear cover with a blister pack sandwiched therebetween and visible through a window in the front cover. The blister pack includes indicia thereon indicating the order in which the tablets should be taken and the container includes a pointer identifying the first tablet in the array of tablets to be consumed. Preferably, the container includes a daily calendar in the form of a loop or cylinder which is moveable with respect to the container so that a desired starting day can be selected by the user or prescriber. Preferably, the loop or cylinder is lockable in its selected position. In accordance with two embodiments of the invention, front and rear lids are pivoted to the front and rear covers, respectively, to conceal the blister pack until it is necessary to take a tablet.

    A compression joint for assembly at the junction of an eyeglass temple and the adjacent lens frame. The joint has a resiliently compressible portion that is placed under compression when a temple is in fully open position. This permits the temple to swing beyond a normal open position and to be biassed toward a partially open position, thereby providing snug fitting glasses regardless of head size and/or wear during use.

    A mixing bowl has a unitary inner shell including a circular base and a peripheral side wall extending upwardly therefrom to an upper peripheral rim defining the open mouth of the bowl, the side wall having a spout at one side thereof and, diametrically opposite thereto, a laterally outwardly extending two-part handle, including an upper part unitary with the inner shell of the bowl and a lower part fixed thereto. The handle has a compound upper surface and a recessed lower surface to facilitate grasping. The base and the lower portion of the peripheral side wall have the outer surfaces thereof covered with an outer shell of frictional material.
