System And Method For Collaborating Between Vehicular 360 Degree Threat Detection Appliances
- CHICAGO IL, US SHERVIN SABRIPOUR - PLANTATION FL, US CHI T. TRAN - NAPERVILLE IL, US BERT VAN DER ZAAG - WHEAT RIDGE CO, US
International Classification:
G01S 7/00 B60Q 5/00 B60Q 9/00
Abstract:
Electronic processing systems and methods for collaborating between vehicular threat detection appliances. One system includes a memory, a transceiver, an electronic processor, and a first vehicular 360-degree threat detection appliance that is physically coupled to a first vehicle. The electronic processor is configured to identify a portion of the first vehicular 360-degree threat detection appliance having an obstructed field-of-view. The electronic processor is also configured to detect a second vehicular 360-degree threat detection appliance that is physically coupled to a second vehicle and has an unobstructed field-of-view of the obstructed field-of-view. The electronic processor is further configured to transmit a request to the second vehicular 360-degree threat detection appliance to provide threat detection coverage for the first vehicle in a direction of the obstructed field-of-view. The electronic processor is also configured to temporarily disable the portion of the first vehicular 360-degree threat detection appliance that has the obstructed field-of-view.
System And Method For Enabling A 360-Degree Threat Detection Sensor System To Monitor An Area Of Interest Surrounding A Vehicle
- Chicago IL, US FABIO M. COSTA - WESTON FL, US SHERVIN SABRIPOUR - PLANTATION FL, US
International Classification:
G05D 1/00 G05D 1/02 G06Q 50/26
Abstract:
A process and system for enabling a 360-degree threat detection sensor system that is physically coupled to a vehicle to monitor an area of interest surrounding the vehicle. An electronic computing device selects an area of interest surrounding a vehicle stop location to be monitored by the sensor system. When the sensor system has an obstructed field-of-view of the area of interest, the electronic computing device determines a new vehicle stop location at which the sensor system has an unobstructed field-of-view of the area of interest when the vehicle is to be stopped at the new vehicle stop location. The electronic computing device then transmits an instruction to a target electronic device to provide an electronic indication identifying the new vehicle stop location to a registered occupant of the vehicle, or autonomously control the vehicle to stop at the new vehicle stop location.
System And Method For Intelligent Traffic Stop Classifier Loading
- CHICAGO IL, US ALEJANDRO G. BLANCO - FORT LAUDERDALE FL, US SHERVIN SABRIPOUR - PLANTATION FL, US SCOTT M. ALAZRAKI - DAVIE FL, US DANIEL A. TEALDI - PLANTATION FL, US JOHN B. PRESTON - PLANTATION FL, US
International Classification:
G06K 9/62 G06K 9/00 G08G 1/00 G06F 17/24
Abstract:
Systems and methods for intelligent traffic stop classifier loading are provided. A processor may receive a plurality of inputs related to a current context of a law enforcement officer. Based on the plurality of inputs, it may be determined that the current context of the law enforcement officer is a vehicle traffic stop. An image classifier may be loaded onto an image capture device associated with the law enforcement officer based on the vehicle traffic stop determination. An object type associated with the image classifier may be scanned for using the image classifier loaded onto the image capture device.
Method And Apparatus For Distributed Edge Learning
- Chicago IL, US Shervin Sabripour - Plantation FL, US
International Classification:
G06K 9/66 G06K 9/00 G06N 3/08
Abstract:
An object learning system, method, and device. The object learning device includes an electronic processor configured to provide an identifier based on target to at least one auxiliary object learning device and initiate an edge learning process on the target to create first preprocessed object recognition data. The electronic processor is further configured to receive second preprocessed object recognition data corresponding to the target from the at least one auxiliary object learning device and create, based on the first and the second preprocessed object recognition data, a classifier of the target.
Device, System And Method For Generating An Alert And An Automatic Search For A Candidate Subject
- Chicago IL, US Scott M. ALAZRAKI - Davie FL, US Shervin SABRIPOUR - Plantation FL, US Patrick D. KOSKAN - Jupiter FL, US
International Classification:
G06K 9/00 H04N 7/18 G08B 13/196
Abstract:
A device, system and method for generating an alert and an automatic search for a candidate subject is provided. The device monitors one or more data sources to identify a candidate subject. The device determines, from rules for rating candidate subjects stored in a memory, a rating of the candidate subject. When the rating meets a first threshold: the device transmits, to one or more communication devices, an alert identifying the candidate subject. When the rating meets a second threshold, lower than the first threshold: the devices provides, a classifier defining the candidate subject to an object recognition engine to cause the object recognition engine to automatically search for the candidate subject, using the classifier, in multimedia data received at one or more edge devices. The multimedia data may include images.

- Chicago IL, US Shervin Sabripour - Plantation FL, US
International Classification:
G06K 9/66 G06N 99/00 G06K 9/46 G06K 9/00
Abstract:
A portable electronic device and method. The portable electronic device includes a first camera, a second camera, an electronic processor, and one or more sensors. The electronic processor is configured to detect, based on information obtained from the one or more sensors, an incident and select a camera responsive to the incident. The electronic processor is further configured to capture an image using the selected camera and determine, within the image, a subject of interest, wherein the subject of interest is at least one selected from the group consisting of a person, an object, and an entity. The electronic processor is also configured to initiate an edge learning process on the subject of interest to create a classifier for use in identifying the subject of interest and transmit the classifier to a second portable electronic device within a predetermined distance from the portable electronic device.

International Classification:

Abstract:
A method and server for determining the current location of a person of interest (POI) is provided. The server receives a first indication that a first searcher has identified a POI and requests first route information from the first searcher. Upon receiving the first route information from the first searcher, the server determines if second route information relating to the person of interest has been received from a second searcher. If so, the server determines a search area for the person of interest based at least in part upon the first route information and the second route information.
