Abstract:

Apparatus for monitoring the amount of sediment carried into and deposited within an underground stormwater-receiving system comprises a high surface area float that moves up and down within a chamber of the system. A rod extends upwardly from the float and is slidably contained within a tube that runs from the top of the chamber and to the soil surface. The top of the rod is visible to a worker on the surface. When storm water drains away, the float comes to rest on such sediment as has accumulated in the bottom of the chamber. Thus, the amount of sediment is determinable according to the changed rest-position of the rod.

A detachable end cap for a molded plastic storm water chamber has an integrally welded pipe stub. Abstract:

A disclosed corrugated end cap includes a corrugated frame having one or more corrugations defined by one or more sets of alternating peaks and valleys. The end cap also includes one or more ribs disposed in one or more of the valleys and one or more valley reinforcements disposed in the valleys and running over a top surface of the corrugated frame. For example, the one or more ribs may be configured to increase a resistance of the frame to bending. Additionally or alternatively, the top surface, a front surface, and a rear of the corrugated frame surround a recess configured to receive latch ridges from a stormwater chamber.

Stormwater management systems, methods, and apparatus for containing and filtering runoff may be provided. In one implementation, a stormwater management crate for managing stormwater runoff may be provided. The stormwater management crate may include a top plate having one or more support column attachments and one or more support columns located below the top plate, the one or more support columns being affixed to the top plate at the one or more support column attachments and to a second plate. Support column attachments may include bayonet connections or snap connections. Stormwater management crates may be arranged into an array and include side panels of variable heights. The array of stormwater management crates may be further wrapped in sediment impervious material and serve to restrict stormwater flow as part of a stormwater management system.

The embodiments of the present disclosure provide an in-line surface drain. The in-line surface drain may comprise a cylindrical frame and a plurality of concentric rings coupled to the cylindrical frame.
