Abstract:

A support for a flexible, water-proof spa cover which permits drainage of snow and moisture away from the spa during the off season, the support having a base member capable of being weighted, a top member generally circular in configuration for the elevated support of a flexible water resistant spa cover, the base member and top member being in communication with each other by means of telescoping sleeve members having alignable apertures for receipt of a locking pin so as to provide for adjustment of the height of the support from the well of the spa to a distance above the edge coping of the spa so as to provide for a sloping surface of said flexible, water-proof spa cover for snow and water run off.

Abstract:

An improved swimming pool cover system which incorporates a gap eliminator for use on pools which have walls of varying height and curvature, the gap eliminator secured to the wall by a cable and a plurality of anchors, the gap eliminator having a sleeve including a weighted buoyant material disposed below the pool cover attached to the cable and a second sleeve having buoyant weighted material disposed above the pool cover attached to the cable, thereby sealing the gap between the pool cover and the wall.

Abstract:

A pool deck protector cooperative with the perimeter coping of the pool to prevent wear and discoloration to the pool deck and pool coping by the tie-down assembly securing the pool cover to a pool cover anchor. The pool deck protector is generally planar with one edge curved under upon the underside of the planar member, the curved edge having a decreasing radius such that it is frictionally engageable in a snap-fit manner with the perimeter coping of the pool to position the pool deck protector in alignment with the tie-down assembly thereby protecting the perimeter coping and immediate pool deck area.

Tongs for manipulating shish-kebob on a barbeque grill, the tongs having two arms, the two arms being in parallel relationship at an insulated handle end, which includes a pivot point, the arms diverging at the opposing end of the handle end, to form two opposing, spaced apart arms having kebob engaging ends, each end having a horizontal slot formed in the tip of the kebob engaging ends, the slit having a notched closed end, the slot and notch for the receipt of the ends of a skewer, the tongs being compressed so that the kebob engaging ends engage the outer food items on the skewer preventing their rotation so that the kebob can be flipped for even cooking on the opposing side and for removal from the grill.
