Abstract:

A platter cart has a wheeled base and at least one vertical support extending upwardly from each side of the base at a location spaced between the front and rear end of the base. A series of front shelves are secured to extend forwardly from the supports at spaced intervals, and a series of horizontal rear shelves are secured to extend rearwardly from the supports at spaced intervals. Each rear shelf is vertically offset from the front shelves, so that two platter carts can be nested together by pushing a rearward cart into the end of a front cart with the front shelves of the rearward cart nesting into the spaces between the rear shelves of the front cart.

Abstract:

A nestable cart has a generally flat base or platform supported on caster wheels and having sides which taper inwardly from the rear end to the front end of the platform. An upwardly extending handle frame extends upwardly from the rear end of the cart. An open area beneath the platform is designed to receive the front end of a platform of a second cart in order to nest two carts together. A nesting guide formation is provided at one end of the platform to guide two platforms into nesting engagement while lifting the rear wheels of a front cart from the ground during nesting of a rear cart into the front cart. The guide formation may be one or more rotating members such as rollers or guide wheels.

A multi-level personal utility cart includes a frame including a vertical rear panel and a handle including latching structure on side portions of the handle, each latching structure being structurally engaged with a portion of the rear panel, a lower basket assembly carried by and pivotably attached to the frame, an upper basket assembly carried by and pivotably attached to the frame, where the upper and lower basket assemblies are pivotable in a direction toward the upper portion of the handle so that the upper and lower basket assemblies can be collapsed against a portion of the frame into a compact and substantially planar structure. Abstract:

A barbeque grill assembly having a cooking chamber includes a liquid reservoir, a first grilling member supported above the reservoir, the first grilling member including a foraminous planar element on which food to be grilled is arranged, a cylindrical stack arranged centrally of the reservoir, and a cover disposed over the reservoir, the first grilling member and the stack. At least one of the cover and the stack includes an air flow impacting member for radially dispersing warmed air throughout the cooking chamber. A heat source is disposed beneath the liquid reservoir, and the stack communicates air heated by the heat source with the cooking chamber. The stack comprises a tube having a diameter and an elongated longitudinal axis extending from a region adjacent the heat source to a region adjacent the central portion of the cover. The stack includes air swirling means projecting into or towards the conduit formed by the stack. One form of the air swirling means is an array of deformed areas on the stack surface which comprises helically arranged inner wall protuberances projecting into the interior of the stack. To further enhance the swirling of heated air within the cooking chamber, the surface of the cover that overlies the stack may be formed with a conical formation at the central region thereof.

Abstract:

A nestable lumber cart has a wheeled base having a front end, a rear end, and opposite sides, the sides of the base tapering outwardly from the front end to the rear end of the cart, an outer side wall extending along at least part of the length of each side from the rear end of the base, and a pair of spaced inner side walls extending along at least part of the base from the rear end of the cart and spaced inwardly from the respective outer side wall. The inner side walls define a central channel for supporting flat panels in an upright orientation, and each inner side wall and adjacent outer side wall defines a side channel on a respective side of the central channel for supporting beams. Each side wall has an outward taper matching that of the base sides from the front to the rear end of the cart. The base of the cart is designed to permit nesting so that the front end of one cart can nest into the rear end of another cart.
