Abstract:

The power dental appliance includes a handle/receiver assembly () and a nozzle assembly () which is attachable thereto. The nozzle assembly and the handle/receiver include portions which together define an interface arrangement. The nozzle includes an extending tubular member (), with two sets of opposing sides with lateral grooves () in one set of opposing sides ( ), near the lower end thereof. The handle/receiver includes a hollow upper portion (), into which the tubular member portion of the nozzle fits, the hollow portion including mating projections in the form of ribs () which mate with the grooves in the tubular member to prevent the nozzle from coming off the handle during operation of the appliance, but permitting removal thereof by the user.

Abstract:

A fully automatic, milk inclusive espresso coffee machine which includes coffee bean grinding and brewing apparatus and a milk aeration system which pumps a selection of milk from an internal refrigerator through a choice of aeration processes to a steaming apparatus for heating and further conditioning the milk for joining the brewed coffee liquor. With each beverage production cycle all milk is hygienically either served or returned to its refrigerated reservoir. A process is disclosed which includes pumping milk, all in a refrigerated environment, selectively along a plurality of milk lines one of which may inject air for foaming the milk to a steam delivery line for heating and steaming it and delivering it to a beverage cup. After the desired amount of milk has been delivered, the steam flow continues momentarily to cleanse the line of residual milk.

An improved mobile device case with an embedded card holder is provided. The mobile device case may include a card slot recessed into the back of the case and fitted for insertion of a card, such as a credit card. A flexural binder formed from opposite-facing surfaces molded as part of the case flexes the card widthwise and lengthwise such that the forces resisting flexure exerted by the flexed card hold the card in place. One opposite-facing surface, a retainer, may be connected to non-recessed areas of the back of the case that extends over the recessed slot. Another opposite-facing surface is a raised edge on the recessed surface of the interior back of the case bordering both sides and the rear of the recessed slot.

Abstract:

Disclosed is an adjustable holder for devices with a simplified design for accommodating devices of various form factors and shapes. The adjustable holder comprises at least a pair of offset, generally parallel arms that are slidable within corresponding openings of a support in order to adjust the arms and fixedly position the arms at varying distances relative to the support. The adjustable holder further comprises a gripping member coupled to a distal end of each of the arms to grip a device at opposing sides of the device. In some embodiments, the arms are adjustable via a two-part ratcheting mechanism. In yet other embodiments, the gripping members are rotatable to accommodate devices of various geometries. The holder can fit onto a stand or structure to hold a device in a fixed position.
