Abstract:

Subscription profile data is managed. The subscription profile data is associated with a communications service. A user interface is sent to a hosting client for a user to obtain access to and make changes to subscription profile data. A request to retrieve the subscription profile data is received from the client. The subscription profile data is retrieved from within a communications network in response to the request to retrieve the subscription profile data. A request to update the subscription profile data is received. An update for the subscription profile data is forwarded so that the communications service is implemented in the communications network in accordance with the update.

Abstract:

A method for managing subscriber profile data for a service provided over a communications network includes receiving a subscriber request to view the subscriber profile data from a client which hosts a user interface configured to allow the subscriber to view and update the subscriber profile data. The subscriber profile data is retrieved based upon receiving the subscriber request to view the subscriber profile data from the client. The subscriber profile data is forwarded to the client. A subscriber request to update the subscriber profile data is received from the client. The method includes forwarding an update for the subscriber profile data to the communications network based upon receiving the subscriber request to update the subscriber profile data from the client. The communications network provides the service in accordance with the updated subscriber profile data.

Data used to implement a communications service is managed. A request for a user interface is received over a first communications network from a hosting client. The user interface is sent over the first communications network to the hosting client in accordance with the request. The data used to implement the communications service is received over the first communications network from the hosting client via the user interface. The data used to implement the communications service is forwarded to within a second communications network. The communications service is implemented in the second communications network in accordance with the data.
