Abstract:
A composition of material for manufacturing nicotine free cigarette substitutes. The composition of material of this invention, maintaining the taste and flavor of cigarette, without tobacco leaf, is composed of including but not limited to leaf powder of Samilax China L and leaf powder of Gomphrena Globosa L. The cigarette substitute of this invention is manufactured and packed like normal cigarettes, 20 cigarettes per pack. The substitute emits no nicotine and no class A carcinogenic substances when inhaled by a human. The cigarette substitute has good cancer-resistance. It cures the harmful effecrs to a human body due to poison such as heavy metals of mercury, nickel, and cadmium imposed by use of regular cigarettes. The substitute of this invention helps to quit smoking and eliminates the poisons from the blood of the pre-smokers.

Abstract:
Various carbonyl amides are employed in vitro and in vivo as non-nucleoside inhibitors of a reverse transcriptase, and particularly of HIV reverse transcriptase. Therefore, contemplated compounds may be employed in the treatment of HIV infected patients. Further contemplated aspects include pharmaceutical compositions comprising therapeutically effective amounts of contemplated compounds.

A popcorn bucket type of food container is adapted for mounting a drink cup along one side. This is facilitated by providing score lines along which one side of the container may be folded concave inwardly while allowing one band of the folded-in side to extend outwardly for encircling the cup and a lower portion to extend outwardly as a cup support ridge. For longer cups a portion of the bottom of the container may be folded so that the lower part of the sidewall may be folded inwardly as well.
An electronic book is provided including a plurality of PCMIA cards each with read only memory having a unique text permanently stored therein. Further provided is a portable unit comprising at least one speaker for allowing the transmission of audio signals upon the receipt thereof, a PCMCIA interface slot formed in the housing for allowing the downloading of the text of the PCMCIA card, and a speech processor/synthesizer connected to the speaker for transmitting audio signals thereto upon the receipt of text stored in the PCMCIA card. Such audio signals are representative of speech corresponding with the text. Further provided is a control mechanism adapted to download the text located within the PCMCIA card via the PCMCIA interface and further transmit the same to the speakers and the display whereby the audio signals are continuously transmitted and a user may view the text via the display.

Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for transmitting and receiving data in a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) system. A method for transmitting data may comprise generating a physical layer (PHY) frame including a payload in which a plurality of Medium Access Control protocol data units (MPDUs) are multiplexed; and transmitting the PHY frame, wherein the PHY frame includes information on subcarriers occupied by each of the plurality of MPDUs in an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbol of the payload. Therefore, data transmission efficiency in a WLAN system can be enhanced.
