Abstract:

Multifunctional recycling mower replaces separate lawn mowers for mulching, side discharge, and bag collection into one multifunctional lawn mower using a single multifunctional shell. The multifunctional recycling lawn mower consists of a multifunctional shell and a rotational blade and a handle. The multifunctional shell is used for in situ recycling and discharge and bag collection of grass and weed clippings. The shell is moved and controlled by using the handle which is connected to the shell. The multifunctional shell functions as a recycling mower when it is set and moved in one direction and functions as a discharge and bag collection mower when it is set and moved in the opposite direction.

Abstract:

Waste management has been primarily based on collection of waste and placing most of it in a landfill. Waste management by source eliminates a need for large landfills by separating waste into wet organic waste and dry waste and processing said waste for reuse prior to landfill application. Waste management by source integrates collection and transportation of waste with separation, treatment, processing, and recovery using a collection apparatus, one or a combination of hydrotransportation system and a transportation vehicle, a wet organic waste processing plant, and a dry waste processing facility for reuse. Since untreated organic waste is eliminated or significantly reduced from waste stream, present invention eliminates a need for daily cover and working front of landfills resulting in elimination of extensive leachate management systems and associated potential groundwater and air pollution problems.

Abstract:

Present invention eliminates a need for disposing readily usable materials into landfills or incinerators by separating and preparing as needed the usable materials for direct reuse such as environmental enhancements in coastal zone including active and passive coastal barrier systems such as artificial reefs. The coastal barriers systems are constructed along a selected depth that will enhance the hydrodynamics for more desirable self-maintained coastal biological and physical process. A portion of waste is processed and utilized together with other resource waste.

Abstract:

Method and apparatus for providing multi-power source for power tools. The apparatus includes (a) a multi-functional power block capable of being powered from multiple energy sources including, but not limited to, AC mains, DC power or fuel cell, and (b) a multi-functional battery module capable of receiving power from the multi-functional power block and fit into the recess in the tool which receives the power pack. The multi-functional power block includes an AC to DC converter, a voltage input selector, a DC to DC converter, an auto voltage selector, and a solid state power monitor which automatically sets the voltage and current to be delivered to power connectors integral to the multi-functional power block. The multi-functional battery module includes batteries, a battery charger which uses power from the multi-functional power block to recharge the battery, a power distributor, and a power monitor which monitors operation of the tool's motor so that the power distributor can automatically deliver the required voltage and current to the tool's motor from one or a combination of battery power and the multi-functional power block to produce the required operational driving torque. The apparatus also includes an AC mains plug and a first flexible line running from the AC mains plug to the multi-functional power block, a DC connector and a second flexible line running from the DC connector to the multi-functional power block, a third flexible line with attached DC plugs at both ends, and a series of adapters designed to fit into recesses in the multi-functional power block and in the tool.

The present invention improves both the quality and the flow of air delivered by a stationary fan such as a ceiling fan and a portable fan. Ceiling fans provide limited indoor air flow, but do not function as air conditioning and quality improvement apparatus. Abstract:

A multifunctional riding lawn mower for cutting grass, collecting or discharging cut grass clippings, and mulching cut grass clippings into the cut grass. The mower includes a body and a power source connected to the body. Wheels are connected to the body and powered by the power source. The mower has a multidirectional shell connected to the body. The shell has a circulation section and a distribution section on opposite side of the center of the shell. The shell is capable of being turned. When the circulation section matches the front section of the body, the mower cuts grass and mulches the grass clippings. When the distribution section matches the front section of the body, the mower cuts grass and collects the grass clippings.
