    Systems and methods for recognizing a check deposit received in a self-service financial transaction device are described. A check is received from a customer associated with an entity for deposit into an account of the entity. Upon determining a that an amount of the check received for deposit cannot be determined from a scanned image of the check, deposit transaction data for the customer is collected and analyzed, including the frequency and timing of the customer's previous check deposits, the amount of the customer's previous check deposits, the payor of such deposits, and the like, to predict the amount of the currently received check.

    Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for providing suggested transaction categories based on location. The system includes a computer apparatus including a processor and a memory; and a software module stored in the memory. The software module includes executable instructions that when executed by the processor cause the processor to determine a location of a user; access a database including a plurality of locations and associated transaction categories; determine at least one category associated with the location of the user using the database; and provide the at least one category to the user so that the user may categorize a transaction. In some embodiments, the system determines the category based on a combination of the location and a characteristic of the transaction or a previous input by the user. The system assists users in categorizing transactions so that the user is better able to track spending.

In mobile transactions, the reported merchant of record is often a provider of the mobile wallet feature and not the merchant of interest to the user. The systems and methods identify mobile payments based on the transaction data, the mobile payments comprising a merchant of record, wherein the merchant of record includes a provider of the mobile wallet feature; compare the mobile payments and the identification data of the unrecorded merchant; match the unrecorded merchant with at least one payment of the mobile payments in response to the comparison of the mobile payments and the identification data; and identify the unrecorded merchant based on the identification data.

    In some embodiments, a method for processing a payment transaction comprises receiving, by a payor an invoice generated from a first enterprise resource planning (ERP) system operated by a payee. The first ERP system formatted the invoice in a first format. The invoice is stored in a second format compatible with a second ERP system. The invoice has been converted from the first format to the second format, which is different from the first format. Approval of the invoice is received through the second ERP system. Authorization instructing a financial institution to transmit a payment to the payee is generated and transmitted to the financial institution. Confirmation of the payment to the payee is generated and transmitted to the payee.
