About:

I first moved to Menlo Park in 1979. My wife and I know first hand this is a unique location in the world. A variety of promotions and job assignments have taken my family and I to other parts of the country, but each time we’ve returned to Menlo Park. Our children have attended both private and public schools in Menlo Park. My wife and I have been active in supporting the schools and several charitable organizations in the area. Our experience in the community enables me to share special insights about the institutions and services that are important to know when selecting a neighborhood and a house. Because of my own moving experiences, I am fully aware of the challenges clients face. Having bought and sold a number of homes, I also know how important it is to work with a Realtor familiar with the area and is mature enough to negotiate a deal for the buyer or seller. Summary of Professional Experience Edward P. “Ned” Moritz completed a career in the logistics / freight transportation business. He started in Washington, DC representing the trucking industry before the U.S regulatory agencies and congressional staff. Next, he moved to Menlo Park to join Consolidated Freightways (CF). After CF started the Con-way organization, Ned was promoted to general manager of its international ocean operation headquartered in Long Beach, CA. Several years later the Con-way HQ was moved to Ann Arbor, MI. Ned was asked to join the executive team as vice president, marketing and branding. He frequently assisted in the negotiations and presentations to Fortune 100 accounts regarding domestic and international business opportunities. He managed the rebranding of the CNF Corporation to Con-way Inc., leading logo design, preparation of internal and external communications programs and launch of the new brand. This was for a publicly traded firm with 200,000 customers, 22,000 employees and a fleet with 25,000 pieces of equipment. Upon returning to live in Menlo Park Ned became a member of the board of directors of the West Bay Sanitary District and also a member of the Kiwanis Club of Menlo Park. He is a veteran of the US Air Force and holds a BS degree in transportation and an MBA in finance, both from the University of Maryland.
