Abstract:
An electric cooking assembly includes a main body portion that defines a cooking area. First and second cooking surfaces are contained within the cooking area. A first electric heating element arranged to provide heat to at least a portion of the first cooking surface, and a second electric heating element is arranged to heat at least a portion of the second cooking surface. The main body portion may include first and second hood members. The first hood member defines the cooking area and the second hood member is positioned at least partially within the cooking area and configured to decrease heat lost from the cooking assembly during preparation of food products in the cooking area. The second hood member is configured for adjustment between an open position providing access to the cooking surface and a closed position covering at least a portion of the cooking surface.

Abstract:
An electronic connection system suited for use with a fireproofed electronic device. The system includes a heat conductive wire having a connection point that includes a heat sensitive connecting material, and a biasing member configured to apply a tension force to the heat conductive wire point. The heat sensitive material is modified when heat is applied to the heat conductive wire such that the tension force from the biasing member thermally separates the heat conductive wire.

Abstract:
A burner for use in a hydrogen burning appliance that includes a gas enclosure defining a gas distribution chamber and a gas aperture, a burner having a combustion surface, a hydrogen gas source coupled to the gas enclosure, and a flame enhancement member positioned in a path of the combusting hydrogen. The hydrogen gas source supplies hydrogen gas to the gas chamber for distribution to the gas aperture for combustion of the hydrogen gas at the combustion surface. The flame enhancement member may alter properties of the flame such as the flame color.
