Abstract:

An animal enclosure, having a top wall panel, a bottom rack disposed opposite to the top wall panel, two opposite first side wall panels, a third side wall panel and a fourth side wall panel. Each of the first side wall panels has a top edge hinged to the top wall panels and a bottom edge hinged with the bottom rack at a first elevation. The second side wall panel disposed between and adjacent to the first side wall panels has a bottom edge hinged to the bottom rack at a second elevation. The third side wall panel is opposite to the second side wall panel and adjacent to the first side wall panels. The third side wall has a bottom edge hinged to the bottom rack at a third elevation. The first, second and third elevations are at different from each other such that the top wall panel, the first, second and fourth side wall panels can be folded stacked with each other on the bottom rack. The animal enclosure includes at least one removable door formed on one of the side wall panels allowing the user to use the enclosure as a training space.

Abstract:

The door system disclosed herein includes a frame and a door fabricated from a plurality of horizontal and vertical wire rods. The door may have an inverted hook which is aligned to a horizontal wire rod of the frame when the door is pivoted to the closed position. To close the door, the door is dropped so that the horizontal wire rod of the frame is traversed into the inverted hook. At this point, the animal inside of the pet crate cannot open the door by pushing on the door. Rather, the door must be raised so that the inverted hook clears the horizontal wire rod of the frame to pivot the door to the opened position.

Abstract:

A dual axes swivel connector for connecting various panels to assemble a pet enclosure is disclosed. The dual axes swivel connector allows panels of the enclosure to be reliably pivoted with respect to each other. Additionally, the dual axes swivel connector allows the various panels of the enclosure to be offset with respect to each other when the enclosure is traversed to the collapsed position. The offset permits and enables the stacking of the various panels on top of each other. The dual axes swivel connector may be fabricated from a plastic material whereas the panels of the enclosure may be fabricated from a metallic material to reduce vibration noise.

Abstract:

A dual axes swivel connector for connecting various panels to assemble a pet enclosure is disclosed. The dual axes swivel connector allows panels of the enclosure to be reliably pivoted with respect to each other. The dual axes swivel connector may comprise first and second parts. The first part may be fabricated from a flexible material compared to the second part, whereas the second part may be fabricated from a more rigid material compared to the first part. The flexibility of the first part allows the first part to have a tighter fit with the wire rods. The second part has a looser fit with the wire rods but the rigidity of the second part compensates for the looser fit. When the first and second parts are interlocked, they create a tight fit which can reliably provide a hinge between the panels.
