Abstract:
The invention provides agglomerate particles, made by a process comprising: (a) forming by mixing at high speed a slurry of mineral agglomerate components in a polymerizable liquid resin carrier; (b) mixing said slurry with a non-miscible fluid to form discrete dispersed droplets; (c) exposing the discrete dispersed droplets to UVA radiation; (c) solidifying said droplets to form a multitude of solid particles; (d) isolating said solid particles and then firing said particles. The resulting size of the fired particles of the invention are estimated to be in the range from approximately 20 μm to approximately 500 μm.

Abstract:
The invention provides an article of manufacture useful for simultaneously maintaining, cleaning and polishing hard surfaces comprising independently a driver element (non-woven web) having a central opening and one or more equidistant or non-equidistant openings therein and polishing inserts elements disposed in said equidistant or non-equidistant openings, wherein said article upon cleaning and polishing a surface provides a consistent and improved surface smoothness and reflected image quality. The invention also provides a kit for cleaning and polishing hard surfaces comprising: (a) a driver element having a central opening and one or more equidistant or non-equidistant openings; (b) polishing inserts elements for said driver element having equidistant or non-equidistant openings; and wherein said kit provides said hard surface with a consistent and improved surface smoothness and reflected image quality.
Composite Article For Maintaining And Cleaning Hard Surfaces
The invention provides an article of manufacture useful for simultaneously maintaining, cleaning and polishing hard surfaces comprising independently a driver element composite pad comprised of a top non-woven layer and one or more non woven bottom layers laminated together with an adhesive interlayer, said composite pad having a central opening extending through all the layers and one or more equidistant or non-equidistant openings on the top nonwoven layer therein and polishing inserts elements disposed in said equidistant or non-equidistant openings. The invention also provides a kit for polishing hard surfaces comprising: (a) a driver element having a central opening and one or more equidistant or non-equidistant openings; (b) polishing inserts elements for said driver element having equidistant or non-equidistant openings; and wherein said kit provides a hard surface with a consistent and improved surface smoothness and reflected image quality.
Composite Abrasive Attachment Article For Concrete Power Trowel Machine
The invention provides a float trowel blade attachment for cement floor finishers comprising a rectangular section of sheet metal having a top surface and a bottom surface and having its edges optionally bent upwardly, means for providing to the top surface a three-sided rearwardly open pocket on the back of the section adjacent the leading edge thereof adapted to partially receive a finish trowel blade of the finisher, a spring clip secured to the top surface or the pocket-forming means and extending rearwardly therefrom so as to be engageable with the finish trowel blade to retain the section thereon, and wherein said rectangular sheet metal has attached to its bottom surface using an adhesive or mechanical attachment material interlayer, a composite rigid abrasive element bonded to a resilient backing.
The invention herein provides for an improved dye material composed of a dry particulate mixture of azo and phthalocyanine dyes for concrete surface applications.
