A device for anchoring a frame supporting rail to a construction site comprising a clamp for surrounding at least a part of the exposed surface of the rail wherein the clamp comprises at least one foot extending laterally outwardly of the base of the rail at its ground engaging surface. A hollow collar is attachable to the foot at an angular relationship to the rail and a spike is positioned longitudinally through the hollow interior of the collar and when driven into the construction site, anchors the rail thereto.
