About:
Although raised in Texas as a kid, my story primarily begins as a cadet at the United States Air Force Academy (Colorado Springs, CO) where the combination of an extremely challenging academic schedule and an intense military training environment taught me the invaluable principles of perseverance under pressure, teamwork, and operating according to a vision of excellence. Many core values, indelibly inscribed on me during those years, still greatly impact the person I am today. While at the Academy, I graduated 38 of 1000 as a distinguished graduate and held the top GPA in both my majors. Because of my Lebanese background, I also obtained a minor in Arabic. As the recipient of the Colonel Franklin C. Wolfe Fellowship, a tuition scholarship, I attended Southwest Texas State University and earned an MA in English. After completing my graduate program, I was assigned to Tinker AFB here in Oklahoma. Throughout my military career in the fields of personnel, protocol and equal opportunity, I managed over 70 enlisted personnel. In addition, I managed budgets, developed and taught military classes, and coordinated up and down a high-level chain of command. For over four years, I worked directly for the Wing Commander. Interacting with senior officers, subordinates, and peers honed my interpersonal skills and demanded professionalism, sharpness, genuineness, and attention to detail. I attended Squadron Officer’s School, a mid-level professional development in Montgomery, Alabama, and I attended the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute in Cocoa Beach, Florida. My years of active duty service provided a wealth of real-time experience. After the military, my life of service took a little turn, and I began to work for Christians on Campus in Norman, Oklahoma. During my transition, I attended a two-year Bible school focused on character, service, and the Bible. Now, as a staff member, I enjoy much interaction with students, both on and off campus. In this capacity, I wear many different hats—counselor, cook, tutor, friend and mom. During the last eight years with Christians on Campus, I have had the opportunity to travel to Holland, England, Thailand, Taiwan, Mexico, Canada and throughout the United States. My military service initially brought me to Oklahoma in 1996, and my service with Christians on Campus brought me back home in 2004. During the last few years, I began my entrance into the real estate business as an investor here in Norman. My experiences were so positive that I decided to fully jump into the business. In April 2010, I became a realtor and the newest member of the Keller Williams team. While I was new to the team, I was not new to professionalism, service before self, and leading with integrity. At Keller Williams I found a company who embraces the very same principles I embrace, so I hit the ground running and never looked back. For me, real estate is a people first industry. There is a reason we have two ears and only one mouth…I want to hear what you need to say! I look forward to working with you to help you meet your goals of buying and selling real estate or property management. Because of my military background, my varied work experience, and my commitment to helping others, I look forward to helping you as we partner, coordinate and collaborate together. Please let me know how I can help YOU!
