UVM College Honors Thesis
University of Vermont College Honors Program
The University of Vermont College Honors Program recognizes students that have a profound curiosity for as well as a strong background in research by providing them with an opportunity to pursue a year-long project that requires participants to independently design, create, and maintain a research study. Furthermore, students are expected to write a thesis based on their research and defend it in front of a committee according to the College Honors programs' extremely stringent standards. Students must maintain at least a 3.4 cumulative GPA average to be able to participate in the program. My thesis concerned the topic of I-sharing, or the sharing of subjective experiences, and its effects on different modes of helping behavior. I successfully completed my honors thesis and received College Honors for my work.
