Abstract:

An Improved Glove Dispenser is disclosed. Also disclosed is a device that permits a user to don gloves without first touching their exterior. The disclosed device includes a plurality of gloves attached by their cuffs to a filament, with the filament and cuffs being dispensed from an exchangeable glove cartridge. It is a further feature that the dispenser may be responsive to a users voice. Furthermore, the invention provides a new method for donning gloves that will prevent user contamination of the gloves by touching the exterior of the gloves during the donning process.

Abstract:

An Improved Bus Seat Safety Restraint is disclosed. The preferred safety restraint comprises a padded U-shaped bar that has indexed stops at stowed, in-use and lower locked positions. The bar locks and restrains the passenger when the vehicle experiences a side or front collision, or if the vehicle rolls over. The bar preferably has a single, fixed pivot point. The bar further comprises a padded thigh pad that is height-adjustable to provide greater comfort to a wide variety of body shapes and sizes. Still further, the restraint bar system is installable and easily aligned on both new and existing buses and other mass transportation vehicles.

A Vehicle Exhaust Filtration System and Method is disclosed. Abstract:

A Collapsible Bed Cap for Trucks is disclosed. The cover has a plurality of collapsible or sectioned ribs extending longitudinally along the length of the bed in order to provide structural rigidity to the cover. The cap or cover is sectional and detachable such that it can be disassembled and/or collapsed and then stored in a single bag. When assembled, the cover has a tight, aerodynamic and aesthetically pleasing material cover to protect truck bed contents from environmental effects. The bed cover further has front and rear arches for strength; these arches are also collapsible for storage. Still further, the cover may be removed from a bed while assembled so that it might be converted into a free-standing awning.

Abstract:

An Improved Glove Dispenser is disclosed. The disclosed dispenser will automatically open a pair of standard disposable gloves in response to a user request, preferably by voice. The dispenser further includes a shuttle assembly that will retrieve and position a pair of gloves for donning. The preferred dispenser will accept glove cartridges that can be loaded into the dispenser without being touched by the hands of the person installing the cartridges. In other embodiments of the disclosed dispenser, there is the capability to provide two or more different-sized or configured gloves for donning by users. The preferred dispenser further includes an embodiment whereby the gloves are inflated prior to being donned, in order to further assist the user in donning the gloves. The preferred dispenser further includes a glove donning rack assembly that has a unique glove release assembly for releasing gloves onto hands inserted into them when desired.

A Collapsible Trailer is disclosed. Also disclosed is a trailer that is lightweight, but durable, and includes a set of detachable deck segments that can be assembled into a deck. The trailer further includes a suspension assembly that attaches to the deck once the deck is assembled. Still further, the trailer includes at least one longitudinal member for providing a frame to partially support the assembled deck. There are versions of the trailer that are held together by cable systems, as well as versions that include a metal frame. If the trailer has a frame, there are versions having an external frame, as well as versions having a frame that is internal to the deck segments. Abstract:

A Safety Syringe is disclosed. Also disclosed is a syringe that includes an annular reservoir that permits an extendable needle guard to be stowed therein. The diameter of the syringe body is greater than the diameter of the needle guard. The guard may be actuated to cover the syringe needle by depressing a lever or button located adjacent to the plunger end of the syringe. The release lever or button further is provided with a release guard to prevent inadvertent triggering of the needle guard. The syringe further includes a sealing ring at the tip end of the plunger that serves to seal the annular reservoir for retaining fluid therein. Furthermore, an alternate design of the syringe is provided that has an asymmetrical tip on both the sealing ring and the annular reservoir in order to inhibit the formation of bubbles at the tip end of the syringe.
