Abstract:
In one embodiment a computing system comprises one or more processors, a display device coupled to the computing system, and a memory module communicatively connected to the one or more processors. The memory module comprises logic to receive, in a connection server, a service request from a user via a remote connection client, wherein the service request comprises at least one of a user credential, a connection client identifier, and a layout identifier, authenticate, in the connection server, the user credential and the connection client identifier, retrieve, in the connection server, a user profile associated with the user, a connection client layout associated with the layout identifier, connection data for at least one remote system, and a policy associated with the user profile, and transmit the user profile, the connection client layout, a remote system and the connection data for a remote system and a policy associated with the user profile from the connection server to the remote connection client.

Abstract:
A product includes a string material; and a series of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags secured along a length of the string material. Each RFID tag has an identifier stored therein for transmission to identify that RFID tag and a path along the string material to a reader. A method includes laying a string material along a path through an infrastructure, the string material comprising Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags placed at intervals along a length of the string material. Each said RFID tag has an identifier stored therein for transmission to identify that RFID tag to a reader. The path is selected to correspond with a path to be followed through the infrastructure by a computer-driven mobile device.

Abstract:
Example methods, systems and articles of manufacture to resume remote desktop sessions are disclosed. A disclosed example method to resume a remote desktop session with a first computing device includes sending a query packet containing a first value representing a user identifier from a second computer device to a third computing device, receiving a response packet containing a second value representing the first computing device from the third computing device, and resuming at the second computing device the remote desktop session with the first computing device using the value.

Abstract:
An exemplary embodiment of the present invention provides a modular, all-in-one computing device. The modular, all-in-one computing device includes a computer module comprising a processor, a memory, a storage system, and an interface, wherein the computer module does not include a keyboard or a video display. The modular, all-in-one computing device also includes a display unit, configured to support the computer module, provide power to the computer module, and interface with the computer module.

Abstract:
A library stores individual component files of software distribution kits (SDKs) on a file storage server. When an SDK is to be added to the library, a file extractor copies component files from SDK volume master(s) and stores the copies in the library. The library includes a database to store information about the SDKs, such as how many SDK volumes are in each SDK and which component files are in each SDK volume. The database also stores the name and version of each SDK, thereby enabling a user to browse the library and select an SDK, or an individual SDK volume, for production. An SDK builder then creates the selected SDK volume(s). The SDK builder can “burn” CDs using, for example, a CD burner connected to the user's computer or a central, high-capacity robotic CD burner.
In an example implementation, a method of tracking a mobile device includes determining by a tracked device, that a pairing status between the tracked device and a command device has changed from a paired status to an unpaired status. A timer is started on the tracked device in response to determining the unpaired status, and in response to the timer reaching a threshold time, a distress packet is transmitted from the tracked device that indicates the tracked device is lost.
