The company said it assisted with the investigation into Michelle Mack's alleged theft crew and provided evidence to investigators. It said it's "pleased" the suspects were arrested because it "sends a strong message that the sale of stolen goods has severe consequences."The law was designed to prevent the exact type of illicit business Michelle Mack is accused of conducting on Amazon. If sellers are required to provide their contact information to marketplaces and on their listings, bad actors may be deterred from selling illicit goods. However, Michelle Mack's business name and an address belonging to it had been verified and was publicly available on her seller's page. She'd already been on the platform for more than a decade by the time the Inform Act rolled around.

Global Warming a Hoax? NASA Reveals Earth Releasing Heat into Space
hundreds of miles away from the nearest city or source of pollution, we're seeing the effects of a warming atmosphere. It's a wakeup call that the Arctic carbon cycle could change rapidly, and we need to know what the consequences will be," said Michelle Mack from the University of Florida in Gainesville
"Most tundra fires have been very small - this was an order of magnitude larger than the historical size," said Michelle Mack from the University of Florida in Gainesville, who led the research team on the Nature paper and is currently conducting further field studies in Alaska.

Arctic Tundra Fires Could Accelerate Climate Warming
In a study published in the July 28 issue of the Nature journal, UF ecologist Michelle Mack and a team of scientists including fellow UF ecologist Ted Schuur quantified the amount of soil-bound carbon released into the atmosphere in the 2007 Anaktuvuk River fire, which covered more than 400 square m

Arctic wildfire spews vast amount of carbon into air
The amount of carbon released into the atmosphere from this fire is equivalent to the amount of carbon stored by the global tundra biome, said lead author Michelle Mack, a biologist from the University of Florida in Gilberts story. This was a boreal forest-sized fire.
And the 2.1 million metric tons of carbon released in the fire twice the amount of greenhouse gases emitted by Miami in a year - is significant enough to impact the global climate, says ecologist Michelle Mack.
