CU Buffs rally to escape with victory at Massachusetts
Down 31-20 after Jamal Wilson's easy 2-yard scoring run 2:36 into the third quarter, the Buffs found some character with three touchdown drives and a defense that finally put some pressure on 6-foot-6 UMass quarterback Blake Frohnapfel. The University of Rhode Island announced Tuesday that senior guard Jamal Wilson was suspended by coach Jim Baron for breaking unspecified team rules. The university said in a statement that Baron plans to re-evaluate Wilson's status on the team over the next week.
