Dr. Jacquie completed her DMD degree and orthodontic residency at Boston University School of Dental Medicine and after graduation became the first female and youngest Director of B.U.'s Predoctoral Orthodontic Department. Dr. Jacquie has taught over 14,000 orthodontists, orthodontic residents, dentists, dental students and their teams in multiple areas of orthodontics throughout the world. Dr. Jacquie has lectured in the United States, South America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Dr. Jacquie was in the first group of orthodontists ever certified with Invisalign, which was at the Grand Hyatt Hotel on 42nd Street in NYC in 1998-1999. Since 2005, Dr. Jacquie was asked to be Invisalign ’s National Spokesperson for a hygiene campaign and in 2009 became the Spokesperson for Invisalign Teen, launching it on the Tyra Bank’s show for the company. Dr. Jacquie is one of only 24 Invisalign Faculty Professors on Align Technologies, Inc. prestigious Faculty Speaker’s Bureau. After presenting a four-year double blind study on identical twins, with one twin being treated with braces and the other with Invisalign , Dr. Jacqueline Fulop-Goodling was asked to be an Invisalign Faculty Professor. Dr. Jacquie is responsible for certifying students and orthodontic residents in many of our dental schools and universities in North America. Align Technologies, Inc. Invisalign’s parent company has categorized Dr. Jacqueline Fulop-Goodling as a Super Elite provider which is reserved for the top 1% of all Invisalign providers in the world. This results in treating the most difficult patient cases and is why Dr. Jacquie always says, “If you’ve been told by any dentist that you don’t qualify for Invisalign orthodontic treatment, please contact me because after treating OVER 2,400 patients with Invisalign, I rarely come across a patient that I cannot treat with Invisalign! . . . even if for a short time I have to put a few brackets behind their teeth so no one sees them.” Therefore not all orthodontists are alike. Orthodontics is where science and art meet. Did you know that if one patient went to 5 different orthodontists, they would end up with 5 different smile designs? Dr. Jacquie always gives the example that it’s like going to 5 different plastic surgeons for a rhinoplasty or nose job. At the end, a patient will end up with 5 differently shaped noses. For these reasons, Dr. Jacquie is known by other dental health professionals as the #1 Invisalign expert in the NY area and one of the top Invisalign leaders in the world. Dr. Fulop-Goodling has several U.S. and International patents issued of which two are dentally related. Dr. Jacquie's true passion is teaching and enjoys sharing her clinical office experiences. When not practicing or lecturing, her two favorite past times are skiing the back bowls of Vail and scuba diving in the Caymans.
