Strong quake rattles New Zealand; no injuries reported

Christchurch Aftershocks May Prolong Record-Low NZ Cash Rate
Christchurch was likely to experience further aftershocks of weaker strengths than the earlier temblors throughout the night, Bill Fry of GNS Science, a government agency, said in a TV3 interview yesterday.
